Learning about countries’ histories with human rights violations is important but it is also necessary for us to make what may seem like others’ issues our issues as well. Society must work to assist those disadvantaged if given the opportunity. Multiple aid organizations are working to try and help minorities and certain individuals targeted by their governments. While oftentimes, governments refuse to send aid to their struggling citizens, outside international aid organizations try to do their part in protecting the most vulnerable.

Because of this study consisting of only eight weeks of research, much is still missing from the histories of the countries discussed, as well as the multiple other countries across the world facing the detrimental effects of populism.
